The project aims to enhance academic research capacity, encourage policy-relevant research on migration and diversity issues, and facilitate the use of that research by governments and non-government organizations. The Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment (Directorate General for Housing, Communities and Integration) supports the secretariat for the European Co-Chair position. The secretariat continues to be based at the IMES offices. Click here for more details about the International Metropolis Project.
