Directions
The Spinhuis is located right in the historic center of Amsterdam — just a few blocks from the Red Light District — and can be reached easily by public transportation. Parking in the neighborhood is difficult, if not impossible.
- From within the city:
by foot: it is a fifteen minute walk from Central Station: enter Damrak, turn left at Dam Square, pass the monument and enter the Damstraat. After a few blocks you hit the Oudezijds Achterburgwal. Cross the bridge and take a right. by tram: lines 4-9-16-24-25. Stop Dam Square (first stop), then turn left, pass the monument and enter the Damstraat. After a few blocks you hit the Oudezijds Achterburgwal. Cross the bridge and take a right.
by metro: go to Metro Station Nieuwmarkt - From outside the city:
by train: Centraal Station, then trams 4-9-16-24-25 - From Schiphol airport:
by train: direction ‘Amsterdam Centraal Station’, then trams 4-9-16-24-25
